What You'll Do

The FIO Internal Communications Senior Specialist is responsible for creating and executing internal communications to inform and engage the global employees on Teradata’s business on behalf of the Chief Financial Officer and the SVP, Strategy and Transformation. This position is a critical role in promoting employee engagement through a clear and consistent corporate narrative aligned to the company’s strategy and culture.

The role requires an operational-minded communications professional with experience in communicating and storytelling, as well as executing against a communications strategy. This position will be mainly responsible for managing the communications plan for the Strategy and Transformation function, within the FIO Organization (Finance, IT, Operations, Strategy, Risk, Accounting, Cybersecurity, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development). The Strategy and Transformation team also includes Office of the Business Process Management and Program Management, Business Operations, Corporate Real Estate, and Physical Security.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain a communication plan for the entire Strategy and Transformation team that is part of the greater FIO Communication Strategy and broader Teradata Company communications plan

  • Create content that drive organizational awareness around: FY25 Company Goals, Plan to Make Plan (Quarterly ARR Targets), Transformational Workstreams, Process Management and Program Updates, Win Loss Program, Analytics and Strategy with Trusted AI, and quarterly metrics and progress against the organization’s goals

  • Build and maintain relationships with the Strategy and Transformation Leadership Team, as well as the FIO Leadership where appropriate, and business stakeholders across Teradata

  • Contribute to the overall execution of the Operating Rhythm for the FIO organization which includes the integrated Annual Planning processes, quarterly functional goal reviews and associated analytics and dashboard preparation for executive level meetings

  • Support and organize related meetings that support the execution of the operating rhythm for the Strategy and Transformation team, such as quarterly All-Hands Meetings, supporting company meetings, and offsite Leadership Team retreats and related events as needed

  • Work with and prepare the SVP, Strategy and Transformation and the Strategy and Transformation Leadership Team for podcasts, panels, interviews, conference speaking engagements and other external commitments

Who You'll Work With

The position will report to the Director, Program Management and Chief of Staff to the CFO, and will be part of the FIO Internal Operations team. This role will have a strong partnership with the corporate employee communications team.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing operational and strategic initiatives for an organization, using data and analytics to influence decision-making

  • Proficient in verbal/written communications, attention to detail with the ability to think about the big picture, and

  • Bachelors Degree

Pay Rate: $76,400.00 - $95,400.00 - $114,500.00 Annually

Pay Rate: 76400.0000 - 95400.0000 - 114500.0000 Annually
