Job Title: Equipment Mechanic

Job Description

Responsible for the repairing and maintenance of 7 car wash systems within a 7-mile radius. You will handle major breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance at each location, and ensure the overall cleanliness of the stations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair car wash equipment

• Perform inspections on equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

• Check and report inventory

• Document work and procedures

• Empty trashcans and conduct on-site clean up

• Track and maintain tools and tool supplies

Essential Skills

• Mechanical skills

• Millwright

• Field service experience

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair

• Preventative maintenance

• Electrical knowledge

• Repair and service car wash systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years in mechanical work

• Experience with motors

• Mechanically inclined

• Valid Driver's License

• Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC experience (nice to have)

• Car wash repair experience (nice to have)

Employees are provided with a work van that they can eventually take home. There is a KPI Bonus paid out in January or February. This is a small family-owned business willing to provide training to the right candidates.

Work Environment

The majority of work will be outdoors, with cold conditions in the winter and hot conditions in the summer. You will work under the supervision of 1 Service Manager and 1 Assistant. The shift is Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a rotating on-call schedule for weekends. Overtime is paid for anything over 40 hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
