DESCRIPTION OF WORK As part of this role, your main responsibility will be to gather, organize, and prioritize time-sensitive data to provide crucial emergency information. This information will be used to inform the relevant parties about the necessary actions, including response and recovery resources. You will collaborate closely with various entities such as municipal, county, and governmental organizations, as well as media and non-government organizations, to enhance operational efficiency for the benefit of customers and citizens.

Your role will also involve supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives by effectively communicating and assisting in response, recovery, situational awareness, and resource planning. It is crucial to make critical decisions based on collected and analyzed information to ensure proper coordination and timely alerts to the appropriate individuals. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvement, suggest equipment updates, and participate in disaster preparedness activities, including exercises and drills. Furthermore, during a response center activation, you may have the chance to learn and perform other roles.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM, will work three 12.5-hour days per week In the event of an emergency/disaster situation or training exercise, this position may be required to travel, work up to 12-hour shifts, and work outside of the normal work hours, including weekends and overnights. Salary:The starting salary is non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will receive the minimum starting salary listed on this posting. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years of emergency coordination experience within the operation of a large municipal, county, statewide or national emergency center; and an associate degree in emergency management or other closely related field; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
