The Digital Identification & Traceability Lead Analyst, is a key role in the DI&T department within the J&J Global Site and Supply Chain Services organization. This role will be primarily responsible for driving and supporting the operational capability for Digital Labeling program, and supporting of serialization process for USA – DSCSA (Drug Supply Chain Security Act) while, as required, providing support to Global Data Synchronization (GDS), Unique Device Identification (UDI) programs in J&J.

The function will serve as a point of contact and have day-to-day operational leadership with multiple Supply Chain partners, business franchises and other functions in the organization to ensure execution of our capabilities in compliance with regulations and service to our customers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support global Digital Labeling team including direct responsibility for co-ops or interns.

  • Support the regional operational activities for Digital Labeling capabilities while maintaining effective communication with internal and external partners across business segments.

  • Support serialization DSCSA regulation for USA market.

  • Support the regional operational activities for serialization and traceability capabilities while maintaining effective communication with internal and external partners across business segments

  • Own specific tasks as part of larger projects to timely delivery and within budget while coordinating tasks across functions and geographies.

  • Partner with business leaders, J&J Technology, and our Regulatory, Make and Deliver organizations to provide the highest level of data quality.

  • Drive compliance in deployment phase to ensure landmarks are met for regional regulatory compliance to the laws and statutes of Digital Labeling continuous support of operational activities aligned with quality compliance.

  • Support the Product development of scope and plans for new market regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Ad hoc and as required support GDS, UDI and other serialization program and processes.

Qualifications

Education:

  • University/Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience & Skills

Required:

  • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant business experience.

  • Experience in Supply Chain processes and supporting systems.

  • Understanding of Serialization and DSCSA regulations.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Capability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks and proven flexibility in a changing business environment.

  • Proficient in English (both verbal & written).

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in the medical device industry.

  • Experience with GS1 standards.

  • Basic understanding of Digital Labeling.

  • Basic understanding of general software application setup.

  • Capability to analyze issues and steer to resolution within sophisticated processes.

  • Results driven, understands complex business processes and systems relations/dependencies.

  • Ability to write SOPs and/or Work Instructions using good documentation practices.

Other:

  • May require up to 10% domestic or international travel.

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $144,900.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
