EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY 2 days a MONTH in the office Randstad is extremely excited to be partnering with an outstanding non-profit organization in the Harrisburg, PA area. Our client is seeking to hire a Corporate Accountant who has some level of Federal Grant Accounting experience. This position will play a key role in preparing financial statements and creating policies/procedures. As mentioned, this position is ONLY in the office TWICE a MONTH. Responsibilities
Collaborates with finance departments of international entities to ensure timely and accurate financial data compilation and subsequent consolidation of the information into accounting software.
Ensures financial records are maintained in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Manages monthly financial reconciliations, including bank accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and other balance sheet accounts.
Assists in budgeting and forecasting process.
Assists in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
Oversees monthly accounting, consolidation of financial information from sub-grantees, and overall financial reporting for international grants, ensuring compliance with grantor stipulations and guidelines.
Reconciles international grant accounts monthly and ensures accurate tracking of expenses and revenue.
Coordinates with Assistant Controller and operations team to forecast future financial needs and ensures proper budget utilization.
Prepares and submits timely financial reports to grantors as required.
Processes, accounts for, and reports on grants and awards in compliance with all applicable standards.
Designs, implements, and maintains business process documents for international grants.
