The Employment Banking and Revenue Technology Services Office, Mainframe/Midrange Operations Division is seeking highly motivated Computer Operator 2s to complete our team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role you will be monitoring and printing jobs from PaTH software to Ricoh Process Director print queue and preparing the prints for pickup or delivery. You will be required to maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all Windows applications. You will have the opportunity to work with confidential Federal Tax Information and will be completing IRS FTI training as well as necessary Commonwealth training regarding the handling. Work includes problem solving program halts or equipment malfunctions, maintaining all printers, completing quality assurance throughout operations, and staying up to date with reports created by developers. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work schedules available include: modified 2nd shift -  5:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday - Friday, and 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Computer Operator 1; or One year of experience in operating computer and an associate degree with major course work in data processing; or Two years of experience in operating computers; and graduation from high school; or equivalent certification or formal training. Formal training in electronic data processing may be substituted for experience at the rate of 25 hours for one month, to a maximum of 12 months. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: The selected candidate for this position must undergo a fingerprint-based records check to be in compliance with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS).

This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment. Under Pub 1075, acceptance of a conditional offer of employment will require submission to and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to: a fingerprint-based federal records check; a PA State Police clearance; a check of local law enforcement agencies where you have lived, worked, and/or attended school within the last five (5) years; and a citizenship/residency verification.
