DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for carrying out the mandates of the Private Licensed Schools Act and for complex assignments in support of the State Board of Private Licensed Schools.  Assignments will include traveling across the state to investigate student complaints, investigate cases of unlicensed activity, conducting in-person site visits, presenting cases to the Board for adjudication, serving as staff to the Board's Review and Recommendation Panel, and facilitating hearing requests.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Travel is required. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, and report to the office at least one day per month.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as an Education Administration Associate; or Four years of professional experience in education including at least two years in educational administration; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
