Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Clerical Assistant 2 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering mail including priority correspondence and packages, sorting incoming external and interoffice mail, and facilitating the pickup of outgoing and interoffice mail. This includes maintaining daily tracking logs for various activities, handling packages up to 70 pounds, and operating various machinery such as high-speed copier, letter opener, printer, and pallet jack. You will also be responsible for transporting revenue bags containing checks daily and providing general clerical support to other DOS program areas as needed.

This position also assists with related responsibilities such as the delivery of office supplies to various DOS program areas within all Harrisburg locations and maintaining the Secretary of the Commonwealth and Operations Center fleet vehicles. You will also assist with the setup, tear down, and transport of furniture between DOS offices and Harrisburg locations. Bring your skills to the table and become a valued member of our team!

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must possess a valid Class C Pennsylvania Driver's License. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
