Job Title: Commercial/Industrial Boiler Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial/Industrial Boiler Technician to service clients throughout the region. The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and correcting system problems, replacing parts, adjusting controls for optimal performance, performing maintenance and tear downs for boiler inspections, and working with certified welders on tube replacements and other R Stamp repairs. The equipment and systems will be commercial and industrial, catering to both process and heating applications. Our clients include manufacturing facilities, schools, healthcare facilities, and other businesses with large boilers and burners. You will service all major brands of boilers and burners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and correct system problems in commercial and industrial boilers.

• Replace parts and adjust controls to enhance performance.

• Perform maintenance and tear downs for boiler inspections.

• Collaborate with certified welders on tube replacements and R Stamp repairs.

• Service all major brands of boilers and burners.

• Work with clients including manufacturing facilities, schools, and healthcare facilities.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of recent commercial experience.

• At least 5 years of recent commercial boiler experience.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Ability to install copper, PVC, and black pipe.

• HVAC knowledge.

• Boiler maintenance and repair skills.

• Electrical repair skills.

• Preventive maintenance skills.

• Plumbing and pipefitting skills.

• Troubleshooting capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with facility maintenance and plant equipment.

• Knowledge of various piping materials such as airlines, PVC, PEX, copper, and cast iron.

• Experience with water lines and water mains.
