Reference #: 4590550 THE POSITION The Department of Transportation (DOT) is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Administrative Officer 1. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the Driver License Center Complement Control Section within the Operational Services Division. As Administrative Officer 1, you lead the section in providing human resource functions encompassing driver license center complement control.  Duties include time and attendance, official personnel folders, and maintaining total confidentiality to provide world-class internal customer service.

In addition, you are responsible for the direct supervision and evaluation of one Clerical Assistant 3 and one Clerical Assistant 2. You plan, direct, coordinate, and control all activities as they relate to complement control, placement, and reclassifications. These activities require the position to work with special users from several different departments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
