This position is responsible for coordinating work with PennSERVE grantees and the advisory board to assist in meeting federal and state program requirements as well as ensuring all administrative requirements are met within the office. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Officer 1, you will provide essential support for PennSERVE, subgrantees, and the advisory board, ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Work includes performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that allow you to grow your skills and help support volunteerism throughout the state. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties including organizing incoming and outgoing correspondence, assisting staff during funding cycles, providing purchasing support for PennSERVE operations, as well as serving as the timekeeper and travel coordinator for PennSERVE staff. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to serve as the administrative officer for the PennSERVE advisory board.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
