DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Administrative Assistant within the Capital Programs Fiscal Division, you will play a critical role on the team by ensuring that vendors participating on Capital projects are paid promptly and appropriately. Effective communication is a key aspect of this position as you will be corresponding with outside contractors as well as internal commonwealth entities to identify and resolve invoice and payment issues. You will be relied upon to maintain and update purchase order records associated with each project to ensure the financial records for each project are accurate and up to date.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
