Description

We are offering a short-term remote contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The individual will be a part of the Accounting team, working in the on high volume invoice processing and helping integrate 2 new software systems that the company is adding to their network. The workplace is a vibrant and dynamic environment where you'll be handling a variety of accounting tasks, with a primary focus on the accounts payable function. The expected duration of the contract is 60 days.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and maintaining accounts payable information within the accounting software systems

• Regularly using Microsoft Excel for data management and transferring data from current software to newly implemented software programs.

• Performing accounting functions with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Handling accounts payable (AP) duties, including invoice processing and vendor communication

• Managing check processing tasks in a timely and efficient manner

• Performing data entry tasks related to accounting and financial reporting

• Identifying, investigating, and resolving any discrepancies in accounts payable entries

• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient accounting operations

• Regularly reviewing and updating customer credit records as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform accurate Data Entry
