Description
Sr. Accountant
A leading provider of healthcare equipment and services is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a contract role. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and driving efficiency in financial reporting and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Manage financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting; experience with Brightree software and system conversions is a plus.
Process payroll and manage HR-related financial transactions using ADP Workforce Now.
Develop and maintain financial forecasting models, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Provide financial guidance to teams and assist with budgeting and cost analysis.
Some local travel may be required as part of this role.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance required; master’s degree in finance or CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in finance or accounting,
Experience in public accounting is a plus.
DME (Durable Medical Equipment) experience preferred.
Expert knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required.
Proficiency with QuickBooks; experience with Brightree software and system conversions is a plus.
Experience working with ADP Workforce Now for payroll and HR-related financial tasks.
