One of our clients, a metal finishing company, is looking for a Production Foreman to work at their facility in Harrisburg, NC. *We are looking for a supervisor that has experience overseeing multiple departments of machine operators*

Salary : $60-70,000 which is negotiable for the right candidate

Schedule: Mon-Fri 2:30PM-11:30PM with some Saturdays (MUST be able to train on 1st shift for the first 4-6 weeks - Mon-Fri 7AM-4PM)

Duration: Permanent position with benefits

Location: Harrisburg, NC

What’s a typical day as a Production Foreman? You’ll be:

• Leading employees and executing the production schedule

• Ensuring quality of workmanship and adherence to safety procedures

• Training and educating employees on safety guidelines, company policies, and production equipment

• Maximizing output and meeting production goals

• Directing and supervising the work of multiple employees across multiple departments

• Coordinating with the Maintenance department for equipment repairs

• Maintaining a neat and orderly working environment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a foreman or in a production leadership/supervisory role

• Are a problem solver and can implement improvements throughout the department

• Have previous experience managing a medium-sized team of employees (20+)

• Have previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Have good time management and multitasking skills

• Are capable of coordinating a complex workflow across multiple departments

• Demonstrate initiative, a sense of urgency, and self-motivation in your work tasks

• Have the ability to coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees in a respectful manner

• Are able to work flexible shifts and hours, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Experience in steel fabrication

• Progressive advancement in previous positions
