Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Designer to join our design team in Harleysville. You will work closely with a new construction management team, contributing to the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design building HVAC and plumbing systems.

• Read and interpret HVAC and plumbing plans and specifications.

• Provide information to estimators relative to bid packages.

• Interact with customers to understand their building usage and internal processes to build systems that meet their needs.

• Document systems design in Revit.

• Perform engineering analysis work, including load calculations, equipment, pipe/duct sizing, etc.

• Build BIM/3D models and coordinate these models with both internal and external team members.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3+ years of experience in the commercial construction engineering field.

• Experience with the BIM process, including software, document exchange, and project coordination.

• Experience with Revit.

• Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00
