Reference #: 5001076230300 Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager in Hanover, PA. The Manufacturing Project Manager is responsible for developing and standardizing a project management program across the manufacturing network. Coordinates the completion of projects on time, within budget and scope.  This individual will have the leadership skills in working with cross-functional teams through roadblocks and issues that would impede progress. The successful candidate will serve as mentor and an example for best-in-class project management for the manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation and deployment of project management for manufacturing Develop a stage gate process for prioritization and execution of manufacturing initiatives. Support the team's development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and resource constraints Communicate and align key resources at all levels of the organization on assigned projects Report out key project management metrics to various functions and levels, including escalation as needed to senior management Exercise fundamental, sound project management techniques and workflow process when executing assigned projects Responsible for facilitating processes needed for plant level execution, including commercialization activities and change management. Act as a best-in-class project management example for the manufacturing organization Support training events on project management Development of project management processes and training as business needs are identified Act as a mentor to other parts of the organization who need project management assistance Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, solicit feedback, and address concerns Requirements Required to adhere to safety protocols and work in a safe manner at all times. Obligated to notify the supervisor of any hazardous equipment or practices. Must comply with all relevant manufacturing guidelines for maintaining safety standards. 5+ years' experience of project management in manufacturing environment Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field PMP Certification Experience in project management software - outlining charters, objectives, timing, risks Experience in managing and driving change within a complex organization Willingness to travel for training or system support across the organization, up to 25%. Flexible availability to support multi-shift operations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other database software. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively. Effective at motivating and training others. Eagerness to take on new challenges and grow professionally. Demonstrates willingness and ability to learn and adapt. Patience, persistence, and confidence in taking responsibility. Displays leadership qualities and embraces flexibility.
