CREARE LLC Project Quality Assurance Specialist in Hanover, New Hampshire


Job Responsibilities

Creare, a leading engineering research and development firm in Hanover, NH, seeks to fill the position of Project Quality Assurance Specialist. The Project Quality Assurance Specialist reports to the QA Director and focuses on direct project execution. The Project Quality Assurance Specialist works closely with the QA Manager and others, to ensure that our projects meet or exceed the rigorous standards required by our contracts. The Project Quality Assurance Specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and contract department personnel, to implement and maintain quality assurance processes and practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: act as primary/front-line quality representative for assigned projects; interpret project-specific contractual requirements into executable actions that must be undertaken by project team; communicate requirements from contracts, specifications, engineering drawings and standards/references to entire project team; review/approve deliverable related purchase requisitions and purchase orders; review/approve end item data packages for delivered hardware; understand IS09001 and AS9100 standards and maintain/develop working knowledge of other relevant standards.

Professional Requirements

BS in a technical, science or engineering field with at least 3 or preferably 5 or more years of relevant experience in an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications such as Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, ASQ Quality Process Analyst or Quality Technician are preferred and demonstrate the candidates expertise and commitment to Quality Assurance.

Starting salary range of $75,000 - $110,000 per year, based on level of education completed, and years of relevant experience.
