Robert Half Cyber Security Engineer in Hanover, Maryland

Description About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Senior SDE to join our team, with a strong focus on API development and cloud infrastructure. This role requires extensive experience in Python scripting for AWS services, and expertise in building and managing infrastructure as code. Ideal candidates will have a track record of implementing and optimizing serverless architectures in the AWS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust API solutions with API Gateway using Python (7+ years experience).

Build and deploy serverless functions with AWS Lambda using Python.

Implement and manage AWS CloudFormation templates (experience with CDK is a plus). Requirements

Top 3 must have

  • Building/writing - Python expert, api dev with API Gateway 5-7 yrs exp. 70-80%

  • Building/writing - Lamda need to have written (Writing Lamdas) Built with Python

  • Cloud formation (CFN) - (terraform would be a maybe, if they are very good).

    Cloud development Kit - CDK – is a plus

  • AWS, very experience
