The Business Area Original Equipment Solutions develops and manufactures products for the Automobile industry. Our product portfolio varies from engine mounting to fluid transporting and also sealing systems. The Material Platform Development is looking for a compound process developer who executes the material process development and industrialization with the following goals:
Develop new material processes and maintain standard specifications ensuring product and processing performance in the field rubber compound mixing
Ensure processing excellence in the area of material focussing on customer performance and processability
Ensure running of process developments in the areas processing of mixing,
Maintain a processing community and interfaces within R&D and with Operations, plants, internal and external compound centers
Execute the material processing technology strategy, reports to Head of Portfolio Management Rubber
Relocate compounds according to the portfolio strategy
Coordinate interdisciplinary and multi-site teams & internal customers (e.g interfaces between material and product industrialization)
Master degree in Engineering or Natural Science
Minimum 5 years experience in rubber compounding
Advanced knowledge in structured solving methods
Project Management knowhow (advanced)
High social and intercultural competence
High level of written and spoken English
