Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Focus Factory Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the Value Streams they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer.

• Health and Safety: Ensure plant objectives for safety are met, with a focus on accident reduction and 5S+1 program success.

• Quality: Drive complaint reduction, enhance GMP compliance, and foster a culture of right-first-time and problem-solving.

• Service: Meet customer expectations by delivering products on time, understanding needs, and creating opportunities for Exceptional Customer Experience (ECE).

• Continuous Improvement: Lead projects for annual productivity improvements aligned with budget targets (efficiency, unit cost, COPQ).

• TEOA: Implement tools to achieve star ratings, driving performance improvements throughout the business.

• People: Manage staff selection, performance, reviews, 1:1 meetings, and development planning for consistency in these areas.

• KPIs: Utilize KPIs to manage and improve output, efficiency, and cost goals, including regular reporting and issue escalation for timely resolution.

• Communication: Lead Plant communications for the Focus Factory in alignment with the process.

• S&OP and Budgeting: Support the processes, ensuring capacity aligns with budget and costs are in line.

• NPD Support: Integrate new products to meet plant and customer expectations, putting recovery plans in place for line ramps or changes.

• Key Business Responsibilities: Handle other key business tasks as needed.

What your background should look like:

• Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience in business/manufacturing.

• Bachelor’s degree qualified in a related discipline.

• Experience/qualification in lean discipline with process improvement and problem-solving experience is advantageous.

• Proven leadership ability, motivating individuals and cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated decision-making ability and a willingness to accept responsibility.

• Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, or NPI.

• Drive organizational change and support business decisions/initiatives.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $129,360- $194,040 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
