Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Hampton, VA

Pay Range: $19 - $20/hr

What's the Job?

• Radiograph castings, sample parts, and structural members for flaws, cracks, or presence of foreign materials and process related deviations

• Operate x-ray and film processing equipment

• Align test specimen between source of x-rays and film in accordance with approved x-ray techniques

• Adjust controls of x-ray equipment to expose x-ray films

• Assist Level II in isolation of indications appearing on film and assists in analyzing findings

What's Needed?

• Shift flexibility (Regular schedule is 3PM - 1AM)

• Ability to read a ruler down to 16th of an inch

• Ability to work up to 10 hours of overtime

• Read and comprehend written and verbal instructions

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
