Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in HAMPTON, Georgia, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions with a significant focus on the cash, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. This role also involves supporting key activities such as month-end close, account reconciliations, and audits.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the Accounts Receivable function, including posting cash payments, resolving customer discrepancies, and reconciling the GL with the AR Aging Report

• Manage the invoicing process, including the creation of new invoices, reviewing and modifying invoices as needed, maintaining the customer database, and reconciling the freight invoices to freight billing

• Prepare and distribute all monthly commission reports

• Prepare and distribute the daily and weekly cash reports

• Work directly with the shipping department to manage the shipping notice management invoicing process

• Work with General Managers to sign off on all credit memos and then enter them into the ERP system

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Perform other accounting duties as assigned. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing and Cash Applications

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Cash Posting procedures

• Ability to handle Invoices and resolve Invoice Discrepancies

• Experience in preparing Commission Statements

• Able to assist in Month End Close processes
