Description and Requirements

We are looking for an experienced end user Solution & Services Advisory Solution Architect that can translate business and technical requirements into business outcome focused IT solutions, that add real value. This role leads, owns and supports the pre-sales and delivery activities of digital, technology transformation solutions and services, including responses to large scale, complex customer opportunities, such as RFI and RFPs.

Our service Portfolio consists of everything from Digital workplace solutions, like Service desk, Unified Endpoint Management and Endpoint Security offerings, to configuration, integration, support services, project management & deployment, installation & implementation, data migration and device retirement services across end user devices, on premise and cloud infrastructure and mobile devices. Lenovo also provides complex managed and outsourced solutions using flexible financial models to our valued customers globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope customer and solution requirements using consultative workshops, analytical techniques, customer visits, use cases and scenarios.

  • Translate the requirements into architectures & solutions delivered by Lenovo.

  • Create business case collateral, create and cost solutions across the full end user spectrum.

  • Drive the technical certification and validation for all opportunities across customers solutions and architecture.

  • Challenge existing processes to ensure the best value solution is provided.

  • Develop, maintain and cultivate strong trusted and meaningful customer relationships at all levels, through a deep understanding of their business and business needs.

Qualifications for the role

  • 5+ years’ experience in requirements definition, and be experienced in project management, change management and problem solving in a service business environment. Industry recognized accreditations in Technology, Solution Architecture, Consulting and Project Management frameworks approaches and methodologies are a significant advantage.

  • Ability to interpret customers business and technical requirements and translate them into IT services and solution which add real business value.

  • A deep understanding of digital workplace architectures, in support of complex customer engagements, and transformation programs

  • End User workplace environment high level technical knowledge, including business value, use cases and transition and transformation expertise.

  • Experience in creating and presenting business cases which outline business benefits and show value-add and cost savings.

  • Experience solutioning large, complex deals including experience in creating and utilizing IT services’ cost/finance models and commercial documents, and can articulate, and present these to key business stakeholders.

  • Understanding of financial modelling and leasing concepts

  • Highly articulate and professional in both oral and written communication, as well as presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills to achieve desired result needed to all levels of audience up to and including CXO

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, customers and other employees.
