Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities at our facilities. The ideal candidate will focus on improving the functionality and reliability of all production and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This role involves managing maintenance assignments, developing safety processes, preparing reports, and supervising the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Improve functionality and reliability of all production and facility equipment.

• Manage and schedule all facility and equipment work assignments.

• Perform and schedule all preventative maintenance assignments.

• Develop and implement safety processes and procedures.

• Manage building, equipment, capital expenditures, and parts and labor budgets.

• Prepare maintenance reports.

• Identify and evaluate parts suppliers, negotiate with inside and outside service companies.

• Conduct training for all maintenance staff.

• Supervise and mentor maintenance team.

• Maintain staffing levels and respond to emergency alarms.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.

• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.

• Knowledge of wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, and machinery.

• Experience in maintenance management including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management, and maintenance management systems.

• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.

• Experience with blueprints and ability to read them.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift.

• Ability to be on call 24 hours per day.

• High School Diploma/GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing.

• Reliability certification such as CPMM or CRMP.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00
