AGRILAND FS, a financially strong cooperative serving customers in a growing geography, is looking for a dynamic leader in operations, business and agriculture to fill the role of location manager. The right individual will develop and manage a team to drive the business goals of a growing agronomy and energy retail facility, while taking advantage of the opportunity for career growth through continuing education and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Manage the operational function and team at assigned facility
Lead facility in achieving CTO goals by improving efficiency, developing people and offering premier customer service
Utilize CTO to make business decisions
Dispatches product and services to meet the needs of customers
Recruit & develop team members to improve operations and reduce turnover
Schedule maintenance of facility and equipment
Maintain inventory and facilitate distribution of products
Supervise both full-time and part-time operations personnel; lead team meetings
Assist in determining location asset needs and developing the location budget
Collaborate with Operations Manager on all safety and compliance issues and other locations to improve business efficiencies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an agriculture-related field or 5 years experience in management
Management experience must include examples of the development of others, business improvement and customer engagement
Understanding of basic business principles of inventory and expense control
Good mechanical aptitude
Needs to understand and be able to learn to operate all equipment at facility
Exhibits solid organizational skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
Exceptional customer service skills
Experience in leading safety and business improvement strategies
Ability to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsements
