Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Operate machines, adjust feed rates, cutting speed, stops, guides, etc. Monitor and inspect output. Perform routine preventative maintenance. Operate overhead cranes, conveyors, and forklifts. Maintain written and computer records.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hamilton, Ontario.

Work Environment

The facility produces insulated panels. Employees are trained to assist in various areas of the plant, including running machines, performing preventative maintenance routines, making crates, and inspecting products. The shift runs from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, but currently, mandatory overtime extends the shift from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Overtime is paid after 40 hours. The starting rate is $23.86 per hour.
