Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 3-axis CNC machines, as well as manual mills and lathes. Your expertise in HSM or Mastercam programming will be crucial as you work on both simple and complex parts for machining. Responsibilities

• Program simple and complex parts for machining using HSM or Mastercam.

• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC machines, including tool path and fixturing.

• Operate manual mills and lathes.

• Ensure precision and quality in all machined parts.

• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to meet project specifications.

Essential Skills

• Programming experience in HSM or Mastercam.

• Experience with 3-axis CNC mills.

• Ability to operate CNC lathes.

• Proficiency in manual machining, including mills and lathes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis programming (preferred).

• Familiarity with SolidWorks.

• Experience in a management role (preferred).

Work Environment

You will work in a temperature-controlled and well-organized manufacturing shop. Our facility houses about 40 dedicated professionals and is equipped for custom manufacturing of automation and robotics equipment. The typical workday starts at 7 or 8 AM and runs for 8.5 hours, with 8 hours paid. This is a collaborative environment where designs and engineering are brought to life through machining and fabrication.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hamilton, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00

This is a fully onsite position in Hamilton,ON.
