Job Types: permanent, part-time
Wages: $19-21 per hour
YOU WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Learn from our Director of Food & Beverage and Banquet Sous Chef to advance your culinary and hospitality career
Support in the preparation and execution of the banquet service for all events at the C Hotel, including weddings, corporate, social, and even celebrity events; maintaining product consistency of seasonings, portioning, and appearance of food
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
Participate in the production and plating of all food service areas
Take proactive efforts to minimize waste and maximize quality
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Safe Food Handlers Certification an asset
1 years’ experience in a culinary position as a prep, line or banquet cook preferred
Experience in the catering or event industry an asset
Team oriented and willing to learn
Positive, outgoing, and friendly team member
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
