Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Screw Machine Setup / Operate 1st Shift to join their team. As a Screw Machine Setup / Operate, you will be part of the Screw Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Screw Machine Setup / Operate 1st Shift
Location: Hamilton, OH
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour
What's the Job?
Perform machine setup and operate machinery in accordance with ISO and safety requirements.
Read calipers and CMC prints to ensure precise dimensions.
Conduct setup inspections and ensure operators are knowledgeable about machine operations.
Document quality forms and inspections, participating in the corrective action process when necessary.
Train new or temporary employees and assist in troubleshooting machine problems.
What's Needed?
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical skills to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios.
Strong reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Physical capability to lift up to 35 lbs.
