Your responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same. Checks and unloads all incoming shipments at the Bilstein Fulfillment Center (BFC). Compares information on the packing slip with the purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment. Unpacks and breaks down boxes received in to ensure products are placed in the appropriate stock levels before placed back into the warehouse racking system. Inspects the contents of deliveries to ensure they are undamaged. Stages received in parts by identify and labeling their assigned location to be relocated to (e.g. quality control, subcontractors, put-aways). Interfaces with various tracking websites to download required paperwork for receiving in parts and components. Inputs received parts into the computer system (SAP) properly and maintains proper documentation for accounts payable. Assist with the coordination of vendors to schedule dock times and maintain a dock schedule. Collaborates with Material Planners to deal with any high priority shipments scheduled. Operates the forklift when needed to move product or assist with unloading trucks. Receives in returns from the main plant and sub-contractors and reslots them back into inventory racking system. Assist in other workstations to fulfill production needs as necessary. Works closely with Warehouse Supervisor to eliminate waste and increase overall efficiencies. Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Your profile Qualifications & Experience: Experience receiving in products using a Warehouse Management System application functionality to input and track products receivied in. Experience accessing information on a computer and reviewing documenters for accuracy and completeness. Experience in working with large ERP systems (SAP in WM module preferred). Experience working in a warehouse environment safely operating facility material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jacks, automated storage & retrieval systems, carousel) and picking and packing equipment (e.g. scanner, scale, tape machine). Experience operating various forklifts (order filler, stand-up reach, sit down electric, scissor lift). Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Possesses good hand-eye coordination and is able to perform detailed work with a strong attention to detail and quality. Position is required to work efficiently in a fast pace, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data. Position is requird to be able to lift up to 40 pounds, perform repetitious duties and walk or stand for long periods of time on a daily basis and work in various tempertature conditions (heat, humidity, cold) consistent with a warehouse environment.
