IT Server Engineer Cleveland-Cliffs is searching for an IT Servier Engineer to join our team. The IT Server Engineer is responsible for planning, installation, configuration, monitoring, and on-going support of the Cleveland-Cliffs Steel Unix Server environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled and experienced as a Unix Server Administrator. We are interested in hiring the best candidate in the one of the following locations: West Chester, OH, or Cleveland, OH. Primary Responsibilities: * Installation and configuration of Unix based physical and virtual servers * Patching and monitoring of Unix based environments * Support of application software stacks running on Unix based servers * Working with application developers to investigate and resolve technical issues * Develop and code shell scripts as needed for automation and monitoring Minimum Qualifications * BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to interface with all levels of the organization in a professional manner * Good problem solver and strong analytical skills * Comfortable working with minimal supervision from IT management * Strong technical skills with ability to self-manage projects/issues Preferred Qualifications * RHEL related certification (RHCSA/RHCE/RHCA) * 3 years minimum of Linux experience in a production environment * Proficient in supporting Apache with Tomcat applications or equivalent environment * Distributed printing, eg. CUPS, LRS/VPSx administration experience Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
