Job Description:

• With the introduction of the Cover All Kids (CAK) program, the Presumptive Eligibility Unit has seen a dramatic rise in PE applications.
• Assistance is needed with the day to day operations of the PE Unit.
• Without these positions there is a high risk of falling behind in application processing and enrollment of providers as PE participating providers for Medicaid.
• At least 3 new staff are needed to stabilize the work for this team as 2 permanent state Senior Income Maintenance Technicians will be retiring shortly.

• Reviewing Applications submitted utilizing various electronic information systems.
• Answering Inquiries from applicants and providers in reference to eligibility rules and program services offered.
• Denying/terminating applicants who no longer meet the required program qualifications.
• Preparing application reports daily.
• Researching complaints from both applicants and providers.
• Handling collection of funds from recipients deemed ineligible and providing training to entry level employees.
• Assisting in the day to day operations of the PE Unit.
