About the role

As we continue to pursue ambitious digital transformation initiatives, L3Harris is seeking a skilled SharePoint specialist, to steward our migration from a legacy DMS over to SharePoint Online. Reporting to the regional IT Manager, the SharePoint Administrator engage with various stakeholders across the organisation, to ensure that migration activities, have minimal disruption to business-critical activities.

The remit of this role is challenging and diverse. Day-to-day your work will revolve around leading the migration from a deprecated DMS to SharePoint Online. Your core routines will include but not be limited to; collaborating with teams to design and implement SharePoint solutions, configuring sites and workflows for improved document management, providing ongoing support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system performance, all while developing the documentation and training materials to support SharePoint adoption across the business.

About you

To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;

  • SharePoint Certifications

  • Proven experience in SharePoint administration, with a focus on SharePoint Online.

  • Strong understanding of document management principles and best practices.

  • Experience in migrating legacy systems to SharePoint Online, including user training delivery

  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online configuration, customisation, and administration.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Self-starting, inquisitive, team oriented effective communicators, are best suited to the performance profile of the team.
