Kuehne+Nagel HAZMAT Coordinator - Weekend Shift in Haltom City, Texas

Your Role

As a HAZMAT Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation and packaging of orders with hazardous materials for shipment. Your typical schedule will be Friday from 4:00 am - 4:30 pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 am - 6:30 pm. You will be paid weekly at $27.00 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume of HAZMAT shipments

  • Ensure the safe and compliant storage, handling, and shipping of dangerous goods and other regulated materials, which may include proper separation, palletizing, loading, and storage

  • Ensure shipments/packages have the proper labeling and paperwork

  • Communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, with employees and external customers of all levels

  • Solve problems, establish priorities, and multitask

  • Read some packaging or documents in very small print

  • Work overtime and weekends as needed

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Your Skills and Experiences

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of recent experience with dangerous goods

  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment

  • HAZMAT certification

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds above shoulders

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
