Manulife Senior Product Owner - Customer Data Platforms (CDP) in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Senior Product Owner - Customer Data Platforms (CDP) coordinate requirements, lead the planning and delivery of CDP implementations with Data Engineers and business analysts on the team.

Position Responsibilities:

Requirements Coordination & Documentation:

  • Coordinate with Business, Marketing and Program Management partners to gather and document requirements for Customer Data Platforms (CDP) implementation use-cases.

  • Collaborate with customers from Data Enablement and Engineering teams to analyze and detail technical dependencies.

  • Ensure that requirements are well-defined, aligned with business objectives, detailed, and communicated clearly to technical teams.

  • Collaborate with business analyst, data engineers, web data specialists to plan and prioritize delivery of CDP use-cases and improvements.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure timely achievement of project goals.

  • Communicate timelines effectively with internal and external teams.

Change Management:

  • Oversee the process for logging, prioritization and planning of change requests for CDP projects.

  • Assess the effect of changes on current processes and systems and collaborate with collaborators to implement required adjustments.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for collaborators involved in GWAM Canada Retirement CDP projects.

  • Facilitate communication and alignment between business units and technical teams, addressing any issues or concerns.

  • Coordinate with data engineering, web data engineering, and business analysis teams to achieve project goals and develop a collaborative environment for successful outcomes and effective problem-solving.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, particularly on MarTech implementation projects.

  • Experience in financial services industry in Canada is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Relevant certifications or additional training in CDP, digital transformation, or project management are preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation projects and handling multi-functional teams.

  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), preferably Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

  • Knowledge of offline data integration and Azure Data Lake is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of data engineering and web and app data collection principles.

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,190.00 CAD - $171,210.00 CAD
