Manulife Employee Relations Senior Analyst in Halifax, Nova Scotia

The Global Employee Relations Senior Analyst provides administrative and operational support to the Global Employee Relations team.

Due to the confidential and sensitive nature of the job function, Global Employee Relations Associates must be capable of functioning with a high level of discretion and empathy. and be willing to deal with a broad range of employee issues.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Support and Reporting

  • Production of estimates and termination letters

  • Manage all processes between Employee Relations, Workday, Payroll, Benefits and Pension

  • Ensure that all relevant parties are notified and kept updated related to employee terminations

  • Manage reporting and tracking of employee terminations, ensuring that the department acts in accordance with government regulations

  • Maintaining ad-hoc upgrades to severance trackers and termination letter templates in Word and Excel

  • Provide all regular reports as required, including Finance, Compliance and any ad-hoc requests and analysis

  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries, which may involve partnering with other internal teams or escalating to the appropriate teams.

  • Manage DocuSign processes for support of ER initiatives focusing on Employee Experience

  • Regular access review of the of ER Shared Drive and ER Sharepoint

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an operational environment, preferably in Human Resources

  • Proficient in Excel and Word

  • Experience with systems used such as Workday, Salesforce, Docusign etc.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and tactfully.

  • Detail orientation

  • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality, and able to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders

Salary range is expected to be between

$51,975.00 USD - $86,625.00 USD
