Call Center Representative for a Top 5 Insurance Company

Location: Halifax, NS

Job Type: Full-Time

HYBRID (3x/week in office)

12 month contract-to-hire

Job Summary:

As a Call Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service, assisting clients with their insurance inquiries, policy details, and claims processes. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries regarding insurance products, policies, and claims.

• Problem Solving: Assess customer needs and provide effective solutions, ensuring a positive experience.

• Documentation: Accurately record customer interactions and maintain detailed records in our CRM system.

• Policy Guidance: Educate customers about policy features, benefits, and coverage options.

• Sales Support: Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services that meet customer needs.

• Conflict Resolution: Manage and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in the insurance industry.

• Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
