Manulife Bilingual Customer Service Professional in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Are you passionate about being part of a growing business, working with diverse customers, and building relationships that will enhance your experience? Then we would love to have you join our Canadian Retirement Services Team as a Bilingual French Customer Service Representative !

This is a Hybrid work arrangement, 3 days per week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday & Friday).

The Contact Centre is open Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm EST (9am - 7pm AST). 7.5 hour shift rotations are required and rotate between various start times. Within those boundaries, successful candidates must be available for shifts that vary according to business demands.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handling of inquiries by phone from our customers and financial advisors regarding accounts, products and procedures.

  • Providing an outstanding customer experience, accurately and professionally.

  • Provide comprehensive information to callers, resolving most queries on the first call by researching information on resource systems.

  • Meeting productivity and quality objectives established by the department as well as Customer Experience Call Audits.

Required Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

  • Previous Customer Service experience.

  • Punctuality and Attendance is critical.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in a financial services industry.

  • Understanding of Investment products available to Canadian Investors (eg. RRSP, RRIF).

Salary range is expected to be between

$36,600.00 CAD - $61,000.00 CAD
