Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Operator for a full-time position in food production. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts, including weekends, and be comfortable standing for long periods. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery efficiently and safely.

• Run mixing machines and ensure accurate batching of products.

• Bag products and palletize them correctly.

• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Work in confined spaces and at elevated work platforms up to 30 feet above ground.

• Read and write legibly to ensure proper documentation and communication.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of machine operating experience.

• Experience within food production preferred.

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated work platforms.

Work Environment

This position involves working night shifts from 6pm to 6am on a rotating schedule. Overtime opportunities are available and employees can volunteer for extra shifts as needed. The work environment includes working in confined spaces and at elevated platforms up to 30 feet.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Big Bend, Wisconsin.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
