We are seeking a dedicated QA Lab Technician to perform evaluation, inspection, and testing activities to ensure continuous control over product specifications throughout the production cycle. This role involves maintaining accurate records, complying with regulatory standards, and performing various laboratory functions to support our quality assurance processes.
Responsibilities
Evaluate incoming ingredients for conformance with product specifications.
Perform inspection activities and testing to ensure continuous control over production specifications throughout the production cycle.
Inspect blending and bottling operations for conformance to process and packaging specifications.
Determine Brix-Acid Ratio (BAR) and oil levels in product blends.
Maintain and verify calibration activities for laboratory and operation equipment.
Perform microbiological plating functions.
Maintain QA record keeping, filing, verifying, and reviewing documents for accuracy.
Comply with SO Water testing activities.
Conduct environmental testing activities, including swabs and air samples.
Follow SOPs on product hold processes.
Monitor compliance with GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Experience in laboratory evaluations and testing.
Ability to perform inspection activities and testing.
Knowledge of blending and bottling operations.
Skills in determining Brix-Acid Ratio (BAR) and oil levels in product blends.
Experience in maintaining and verifying calibration activities for laboratory and operation equipment.
Ability to perform microbiological plating functions.
Proficiency in QA record keeping, filing, verifying, and reviewing documents.
Experience with SO Water testing activities.
Skills in conducting environmental testing activities, including swabs and air samples.
Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in wet chemistry, titration, and analytical chemistry.
Knowledge of batch record maintenance and FDA regulations.
Background in chemistry, biology, quality assurance, and food science.
Experience maintaining raw material sampling programs and associated testing.
Proficiency in maintaining micro corrective action logs.
Experience in maintaining calibration programs for all lab equipment.
Work Environment
This position is based in a laboratory and manufacturing environment. The role involves working with various laboratory equipment and technologies, adhering to strict regulatory and safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
