Eaton Corporation Manufacturing Manager ICD in Haina, Dominican Republic

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS ICD division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Manager ICD.

What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Directs key manufacturing processes through supervisors to insure production objectives met consistently with overall quality requirements. Participate as a key member of plant manager's staff in all critical decisions impacting facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assures production objectives are met within approved budget, schedules and quality specifications.

  2. Ensure compliance with standards provided to the manufacturing areas.

  3. Effective management of plant resources

  4. Actively collaborate with Plant’s profit plan goals

  5. Champion High Performance Work Teams (HPWTs) framework

  6. Drive continuous improvement and application through the use of EBS tools.

  7. Works in collaboration with service departments to communicate effectively and efficient and problem prevention and solving

  8. Collaborate actively in achieving key performance metrics including TRCR, Productivity, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield and DPPM.

  9. Champion and promotes implementation of MESH to achieve improvement in year over year safety performance measures and cultural change.

  10. Train and develop team members

  11. Actively engage and enable success of employees (providing resources and removing barriers)

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineer, Electronic or Electronic - Mechanical

a. Preferable Master degree in Production, Engineering, administration or other science.

  1. Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing lines.

a. Preferable 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Section Manager.

b. Supervisor Experience (Skill, Semi-Skill and None Skill employees).

  1. Full Bilingual (English / Spanish)

  2. Knowledge in:

a. Eaton Business System-EBS (Preferable)

b. Lean/ELSS, 6 Sigma

c. ISO9000, Quality System/EQS

d. Safety practices/MESH

e. Process Controls

f. Production Standards

g. Cost of Quality
