GE Healthcare Program Manager in Haifa, Israel

Job Description Summary

The PM Leads a cross-functional/multidisciplinary team of Leaders and their respective project teams for PET programs in Haifa, to deliver project objectives., The program manager drives clarity by continuously defining and prioritizing work, defines the critical success factors/deliverables for the team.

Job Description

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  1. Overall responsibility for program success providing engineering innovation within time, budgetary, quality and performance constraints and guidance to continuously deliver products directly supporting the overall business strategy.

  2. Creates and ensures effective and efficient communication across business functions.

  3. Applies leadership to motivate and energize the variety of cross-functional teams consisting of the program.

  4. Works closely and transparently with Product Leadership and Business Leadership to align program with market dynamics and drive program direction.

  5. Leads cross-functional and/or multi-disciplinary program planning, drives the team to generate trade-offs and identify and manage risks from the early planning phase, throughout the entire program execution.

  6. Works as an equal partner with the program team to deliver results, understands and openly supports all functional goals.

  7. Solves complex and ambiguous problems, leads the strategic and forward-thinking program execution including (but not limited to) concept discussion, program execution, rollout, training, pilot trials, clinical evaluations until successful deployment to serial production.

  8. Works with customers to solicit input and feedback to meet quality and customer expectations.

  9. Provides expert guidance and support to the program organization in various technical/functional aspects.

  10. Creates and supports the stewardship of intellectual property with appropriate security of project documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline with at least 2 years of cross-functional Project and/ or Technical Leadership experience.

  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management or project leadership of multi-disciplinary systems within a development, technical industry, manufacturing and/or research environment.

  3. Demonstrated execution at meeting project goals while satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget CTQ’s.

  4. Demonstrated engineering knowledge, program management, and business planning processes, having experience with the full product lifecycle from concept through end of life.

  5. Familiarity with IEC, FDA EMC, and other regulatory standards
