Eaton Corporation Engineering Manager -Breakers in Hadapsar, India

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible to meet/beat KPI designated in Balanced Score Card for the team

  • Responsible for the successful execution of product design, development, certification & industrialization (GPL) projects and programs that deliver on business case cost and benefit commitments.

  • Managing global programs with varying levels of complexity through Eaton Global EBS Process, proactively identifying and mitigating potential crises/ risks; developing requirements, managing change control, and tracking schedules and cost performance while ensuring project activities aligned with business objectives & best practices

  • Mentoring and guiding Team members, providing them career coaching and help them to success in their roles. This includes, leading managers, lead engineers & specialists

  • Analyzing all team work performance, provide feedback/coaching and ensure achievement of all objectives within required deadlines and monitoring all system functionality.

  • Conduct communication meetings, review cadence, daily stand-ups, 1-0-1, stakeholder visits, supplier visits.

  • Hire, retain & grow the team in capability with measurable higher order responsibility

  • Identifying improvement areas and implementing adequate measures to improve efficiency

  • Maintaining periodic updates on technologies as part of Product Strategy & Technology Roadmap; ensuring alignment & coordinating implementation of product updates & regulations

  • Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer

  • Demonstrated leadership style that is consistent with Eaton expectations of leaders (ethical, passionate, accountable, efficient, transparent, learner). Capable of leading change in a cross-functional environment that requires cross-region, site, and/or global collaboration and span.

  • Previous experience in leading projects of various type/scope/risk levels and experience in multiple functional domain areas would be beneficial to success in this role.
