Senior DevOps Architect who can lead DevOps culture, automate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation (Terraform/Ansible), containerization (Docker/K8s) and automation on cutting-edge AWS solutions.

Professional Services engage in various projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed with success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teamss to access to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs. You will work with our customers and partners on key engagements and will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops and execute migration projects.
You will be based in Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune and might have to travel globally to ensure customer success.
Responsibilities:
Employ customer-facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with technical and business teams.
As a key member of the team, ensure success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform
Participate in architectural discussions and design exercise and development to create large scale solutions built on AWS.
Automate solutions for repeatable problems.
Develop test plan and test cases to demonstrate application/database readiness post migration.
Work with application teams to ensure business functionality and SLAs are met.
Consult for the optimal design of database environments, analysing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance.
Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.
Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and AWS services.
Partner with the sales team to design solutions for customers that drive AWS adoption and revenue.
Conduct technical sessions for internal teams, partners and customers
Key job responsibilities
Drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools. Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Containerize applications and manage container orchestration. Design and implement MLOps pipelines for efficient machine learning model development, deployment, and monitoring. Leverage AWS services for building and deploying ML models at scale. Lead complex application and data migration initiatives to AWS, developing migration strategies and modernizing legacy applications. Act as a trusted advisor and consultant, providing technical guidance and best practices to teams, partners, and customers. Conduct technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
A day in the life
Your primary focus will be to drive the adoption of DevOps practices and automate the entire application delivery pipeline. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and highly available cloud architectures, leveraging AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be working closely with development teams to streamline the CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. You'll containerize applications using Docker and ECS/EKS, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring.
Additionally, you'll collaborate with team members on building end-to-end MLOps pipelines for efficient model development, deployment, and monitoring.
Beyond the regular responsibilities, you may be involved in complex application and data migrations from on-premises or other cloud environments to AWS, as well as modernizing legacy applications using serverless architectures and microservices.
Your role will be pivotal in solving challenges related to scalability, reliability, automation and ML technologies ensuring that our applications, models and services are delivered efficiently and with high quality.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10+ years of experience in consulting, designing, and implementing distributed applications at scale, with extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53, and S3.
Proficiency in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certifications such as AWS DevOps Professional, AWS Machine Learning Specialty (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience on any major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks like CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, AWS X-Ray, and APM tools.
Practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mentoring or leading teams.
