Job Description
As a Principal Software Architect, You are responsible for
Collaboratively work with System Engineering & Peer Teams in deriving/contributing for requirements, Functional & Design Specifications.
Analyze Customer Field Reported Issues and Provide Solutions.
Exhibit passion and absorb the product knowledge to perform go to person for Team needs. Shall have the long term vision of product evolution and ability to break them into short term goals for the team.
Shall be motivated and agile to respond to Business, Product and Functional requirements. Also exhibit responsibility, and understand about impacted subsystems for Development and QA for Product Changes.
Shall have knowledge on Testing Methodologies, Test Systems, Tools, and UAT Frameworks to bridge the gaps between UAT & QA.
Shall have Passion for solving complex problems, Enterprising in finding the smart solutions are must. Volunteer and show tenacity in solving priority issues. Shall play the role of Subject matter expert and develop the product knowledge and should be acknowledged as go to person.
Insure reviews of Functional Specifications, Designs and perform Code reviews for product quality.
Look ahead for optimizations, and develop Frameworks, and Libraries where needed.
Strong desire to get updated in IMS, VoLTE, and IPSec solution area
Desired Experience:
Shall have 12-20 years’ experience in product development with strong skills on developing products from concepts/requirements to field deployments in VoIP, Networking and IP Security is desired. Work experience in IMS, VoLTE, RCS domains is added advantage.
Proven track-record in Development Experience in Product building in Telecom/Datacom, particularly with at least one of VoIP (SIP, H.323) or Security protocol (SIP, SSH, TLS, IPSec) is desired.
Should have product development experience on Embedded Systems, with thorough understanding with Linux/RTOS internals. Should be conversant with Multi-Slot, Multi-Processor, Switching and HW/SW Integration internals.
Experienced with developing products with strong OOA&D concepts with extendable designs/frameworks are needed. Strong programming skills in C/C++ is must, and Java, Scripting skills are added advantage.
Shall possess excellent verbal & communication skills and passion for delivering Functional Requirements, Design Specifications and reviews the same.
Technical field support is added advantage.
Must be able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
