Google Media lead, Marketing in Gurugram, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 9 years of experience in [growth, performance, direct response, social, digital, cloud, events, etc.] marketing.

  • 1 year of experience in people management.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns for clients.

  • Experience in online measurement, operations, ad networks, digital signal processor, digital video, and Google platforms.

  • Understanding of APAC marketing landscape (e.g., consumer trends, media channels and key media outlets, partnerships and ecosystems).

  • Ability to demonstrate measurable impact of campaign strategy and digital media optimization toward business goals using industry standard tools.

  • Excellent communication and people management skills.

In this role, you will provide media expertise and critical support to shape the future of a variety of key Google products. You will partner with product marketing managers on campaign strategy, tactical media plan reviews, and measurement recommendations. You will be working with cross-functional teams and contribute to determining positioning, naming, analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, and help shape the product and grow a consumer base. You will play a key role in oversight and coordination of all advertising leveraging Google’s own advertising products and services and media platforms. Additionally, you will also play a key role in defining the process, ensuring sound management of digital advertising and agency management.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for management of all Google media planning in India and for Google media planning for APAC apps. Manage a team across India and APAC locations.

  • Construct processes to ensure structured management of media campaigns across social, on-network and off-network media.

  • Provide programmatic thought leadership including innovation, assessments, external benchmarking and develop standards for digital advertising.

  • Define and implement a measurement construct for programs and review performance reporting outputs. Use data to uncover new media opportunities, audience insights and decisions.

  • Engage and lead our media agencies to ensure their day-to-day work is flawless and help them go beyond quick fixes to long-term forward thinking solutions. Enable and ensure our media agencies stay up-to-date on the latest ads solutions including new features on Google Ads.
