Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Lead Staff Engineer to join R1’s IT Security Team. This role will focus on Audit Compliance in addition to other IT GRC tasks assigned as needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including SOX, SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, and HITRUST as applicable.

• Should possess strong understanding of different IT Security / Healthcare related Audit framework and languages.

• Prepare and maintain documentation required for audits and compliance reviews.

• Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to access control policies and procedures.

• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.

• Should work in Audit Board and must be proficient to map the controls across the cross functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in audit compliance, or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of access control principles, regulatory standards, and compliance frameworks.

• Experience in Audits and Big 4 work experience is an added advantage.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
