Primary Responsibilities:
Design and develop code for the business application
Work on analysis, development, tech transformation migrating from ETL (DataStage) to Kafka streaming platform and development on Automation and UI based solutions
Work with business partners/product owners to understand desired system functionality
Understand new product capabilities and decompose the implementation into specific functional changes for verification
Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases
Work on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Snowflake to ensure scalable and robust data solutions
Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
Perform comprehensive testing of product distributions prior to release
Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Experience in application and operational database administration
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), GitHub, and Snowflake
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Proficiency in IBM DataStage, ETL processes, Python, and SQL/RDBMS
Working knowledge on any of the Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS
Solid knowledge of data modeling, evaluating large data sets from multiple sources and data transformation
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of database concepts (SQL, NoSQL) and data processing tools (Spark)
Knowledge of data warehousing, distributed systems, and parallel computing
Ability to work independently, mentor others, and lead initiatives with minimal supervision
Proven excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure
