As an Agile R&D Project Manager (f/m/d) for Battery Storage Solutions, every day is not the same in your multicultural team. You will be responsible with your colleagues for the development of the best-fit-solutions in Energy Storage for our global customers and make a significant contribution to the energy transition. With our Siemens Energy-wide collaboration, we combine various sustainable solutions to increase our customer happiness.

As R&D Project Manager (f/m/d) you are fully responsible to drive and manage Research and Development (R&D) projects within Battery Storage Business with full responsibility. This includes handling the scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring new developments are launched on-time and on-budget, maintaining Siemens Energy’s competitive position in the marketplace.

Your new role – challenging and future- oriented:

• Establishing the appropriate balance between time, costs and quality for each project or project deliverable.

• Coordinating activities and communications with the project team and client (internal), making sure that client’s expectations regarding project results are achieved.

• Identifying the people, groups, or organizations that could impact or be impacted by the project, analyze partner expectations and their impact on the project and apply appropriate management strategies foreffectively engaging partners in project decisions and execution.

• Monitoring and measuring the progress, compare actual iteration/project performance against the project management plan/the baselines. Ensure that cost expenditures do not exceed the authorized funding.

• Performing recurring retrospectives and Lessons Learned to check process effectiveness and to improve team competencies.

• Establishing a positive team spirit and build a collaborative decision-making environment that is able to adapt to changing project circumstances.

• Advising appropriate partners of all approved changes and associated cost impacts

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

• Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable

• Mid/Long-term (5-7 Years) project management experience in solution development projects with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and in a changing environment

• Experience in BESS/Renewable Energy/ Solutions Engineering project management is desirable.

• Nice to have Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, SCRUM Methodology,

• Ability to work effectively as a project team leader.

• Ideally, you have previous work experience in the area of Battery Storage solutions and/or Transmission System Solutions.

• Fluent English skills, German is plus

• Willingness to work in an agile development environment, a structured way of working, initiative, creativity, motivation and high-quality orientation round off your profile.
